Hello, SRCG are inviting Stone & surrounding residents to a public meeting from 5 – 7 pm on Sunday 2 September at Yarnfield Park Conference Centre.
The agenda will include:
- Evidence given by SRCG on behalf of Stone Town and Chebsey Parish Councils at their second appearance in front of the House of Commons Select Committee on 16 July
- SRCG’s ongoing work that will conclusively demonstrate why the proposals to construct the Stone Railhead/IMB-R will prove disastrously expensive and ultimately unachievable.
- How SRCG will be working with leading technical experts, together with local and national politicians, to highlight how the costs of HS2 are spiralling to unsustainable levels
