Hello, SRCG are inviting Stone & surrounding residents to a public meeting from 6 – 8 pm on Friday 29th March at Yarnfield Park Conference Centre.
HS2 has proposed further changes to its High Speed Rail project in the Stone area via a process called Additional Provisioning (AP)2. These changes will affect everyone who lives in Stone and the surrounding area and Stone Town Council is petitioning against these proposals.
The agenda will include:
- Update on the (AP)2 process
- SRCG’s ongoing work with leading technical experts, together with local and national politicians, to highlight how the costs of HS2 are spiralling to unsustainable levels
